Last weekend my church, Fairview Bethel, has a small retreat at the church camp.  For the past couple of years, we have been using these retreats to focus on evangelism training and re-focusing on this priority.

One of the things that we did, an idea from a Sunday School teacher, was to take small strips of paper and write the first name of someone in our life who we are praying for opportunities to share the gospel with.  Each person's name became a link on a chain that we can (and did) pray over together.

Now having brought this 'chain' back to the church, I am hoping that it will become of part of our prayer time together and a reminder of a commitment that we made.

Anyone else ever done something similar?
