Personal Evangelism for Pastors
It seems that many pastors get so busy that while they encourage others to be involved in personal evangelism, they find themselves only rarely in conversation with people who are not Christians.
Those of us who are pastors probably need to make it a point to get out of the office more often and in a place where we can interact with people.
Some have suggested to do some of your study and sermon prep in a local coffeeshop. I use my workouts at the gym several times a week to make and maintain relationships with people who seem far from God.
So here is the question / challenge: what do you do to get out from behind your desk and in a place where you're able to interact with people?

I've become a Son of the American Legion. As a son I serve on the military honor guard for vet burials. This gives me about 20 differnt vets to interact with. We usually share rides and spend several hours at a cemetary talking. It's opened the doors to share Christ, lead one to the Lord, baptize one, and do funerals for them and their families.
I also do the grocery shopping for my wife. I've gotten to know the stock boys and meat dept. fellows personally.
every time i go shooping i make it a point to talk to them. When Boyd got sick with cancer it opened the door for our church to be there and respond to the needs.
Another great way for interaction is the public library. We are a homeschooling family so i go and get our books to add to our studies every two weeks. We check out 40 -50 books. people just look in shock and it opens doors for communication.
Most recently has been the hospital and doctors offices we are going to with my son Caleb's illness. People are often open and ready for conversation.
