Upcoming School of Evangelism Offerings

NEXT SCHOOL OF EVANGELISM OFFERINGS

Ten students from eight churches are now participating in the 2009 School of Evangelism.  The School is offering nine classes this year, each class designed to stand alone so that a person can enter the process at any point in the year. Classes meet on selected Saturdays from 8.30 am-3.30 pm. Cost is $25 per class with an occasional additional cost for a textbook(although the commission provides some texts as part of the class fee.)  These classes meet the Conference’s requirement for continuing education.  You can register for any class by contacting the School’s supervisor, Dr. Steve Dunn at sdunnpastor@coglandisville.org or by calling 717-898-8144.

I'm personally on a journey to learn better how to evangelize and to gather the courage to do it more often. To this end, I've purchased the basic course from "The Way of the Master", and I'm blogging about my journey at http://faithshares.ning.com/profiles/blog/list. God's called us all to evangelize, I believe. I am active in my faith, and I have shared Christ, led people to Christ, taught, preached, and gone on short mission trips--but one-on-one evangelism still scares me, and I know I have made mistakes in my efforts before. I want to be an efficient, productive tool in Christ's skilled hand. I want to be used by God. No holding back.
